Well there you have it, The first page is my official website, I am entered in a seocontest called shopautodotca seocontest (if you couldnt already tell, lol) I am new to blogging and mostly did it to link back to my site. Sort of a dirty trick but hey it works. I sort of see it as polluting the internet, but I want to win, I have to pay my student loan. Thanks for looking and I welcome any feedback, good or bad....or ugly. Peace

If you are entering seo contests you're definately able to use WP. For those that aren't however there are alot of different options available. Some of the most popular are wordpress.com, typepad.com, blogger.com and a new service from a friend of mine called www.rapidblogs.com.

I always recommend Wordpress on your own domain however I have used blogger.com in the past and checked out rapidblogs.com which are both good choices.

For a blog hosted on blogger you need to go to Settings then Publishing. You want to publish via FTP.

You put in your ftp domain (ie. ftp.shopautodotcase... and so on)
and the path you want to publish to (ie. /blogfolder/ or no path and it will publish to your root directory. You include the URL of your site, the name that you want the blog html file to have. You need to put in your FTP login and password, and these are set up in your hosting account dashboard. Blogger does it all for you.

Never done it on another platform but I imagine much the same.
