Default How Long For PR To Transfer To New Domain

Does anyone know roughly how long it takes for pagerank to transfer from a blogspot address to a custom domain?

The vast majority of backlinks were updated so they point to the new domain.

Roughly 1 update is a good estimate. That being said if you moved them right before an update chances are you'd have to wait to next... It all depends on where the links are pointing when the big G does it's thing and takes a snapshot of your blog for toolbar PR purposes.

Don't stress it it will eventually come; just keep building.

Im not usually that concerned with pr in general it looks after itself its just the link exchange side of things really.

Hopefully there should be a pr update anytime soon unless i have missed it.

Don't worry about it; if someone pressures you on it tell them you just switched everything around. If they aren't tolerant to that find some new exchanges

I agree with Rob. You should notice a change with the next update, and if someone actually complains, then find someone new to exchange with. Being patient with PR updates is just part of the domain switch process -- and it's well worth it.

It should be noted that PR actually updates pretty quickly, usually less than a month. Google just doesn't publish what your PR is except every 3-4 months.

You may wait up to 3-4 weeks to see your PR take effect, and after than every week or two it will update. If you go some place to check it though, it won't show as having PR for up to 4 months.

Actually the PageRank really transfers within a few weeks. Only the toolbar PageRank takes anywhere from 3-6 months to change.

Congrats on your new PR!
