so, another dumb question, sorry - what's the difference between a regular blog and a do-follow blog?

A DoFollow blog is one that allows links in its comments. Not only does it allow links, though, but the links are also indexed by Google, so they contribute to your websites PR.

How do you tell the difference?

One way is to view the blog's source. If the comment links look like this:

<a href=http://www.example.com/ rel="nofollow" >discount pharmaceuticals</a>

then the blog is nofollow and links do not contribute to the linked to site's PR.

However, if there is no rel="nofollow" then it is is dofollow.

ugh, that's a lot of work, but I guess it's worth it if I can add my link in my post. I guess the only other question I have is - when you're filling out comments on a lot of blogs, they as for your name, email, and blog link anyway, does that link not get indexed? You have to add it actually in the comment box to get indexed?

Most of the time those links are nofollow and any links that you put into the comment box are also nofollow. Sometimes you can find dofollow blogs through a list or by an icon that they will put on their sidebar that says dofollow.

Is there any easier way? Like, searching through Google? Or is this going to take a lot of my time? I've never really thought about trying this before... but if it would potentially help my PR I should spend some time, huh?
