Beginners Guide to Starting a Wordpress Blog

I have read the book Problogger and a lot of the same points and tips are made though the book is more in depth and covers more ground. This is a good guide to get your feet wet with. I would recommend the book as well its a good read and very informative.

I second the Problogger book. I have it as well and refer to it quite often...they have a great site as well.

Im new..and have no idea how to start to set up a blog..Ive seen so many advertisments of programs being sold online to give you step by step instructions. I would purchase one of these, although I don't want to get ripped off. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or know of any legit pakags I could buy to get me started??
