I would tend to disagree with some about NoFollow. I don't think Google completely ignores them as they claim they do, but only awards partial credit. So if they give you 1 point for a DoFollow, they only give you .25 for a NoFollow. I have no evidence other then circumstantial, but I've seen sites crawl up the SERPs slowly that have both Do and NoFollow links pointing to them.

I link to WIkipedia and Flickr extensively, so using nofollow has really helped me with Google. When I nofollowed everything from Wikipedia and Flickr (which and multiple links on hundreds of pages), my search rank increased, I assume because my internal pages were all ranked higher.

I usually do not use no-follow links on my website, except for maybe affiliate links and the such.
