Default Starting a Blog Network

I'm starting a blog network (Ripped Edge Media) and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions? A quick overview (I'm still writing out documentation/what-not)

Ripped Edge Media is a network that based around blogs/forums/and websites in the internet/software/blogging/design/development niche. The goal of REM is to help its members grow and offer them access to relevant guest bloggers, advertising, and to share resources and tips on monetizing, marketing, social networking, design, etc.

Entry into the network is (will be) by invitation of the administrative staff and you must consent to a review of your blog by the head administrator.

Any suggestions? Alternatively, if you'd like more info, you can PM me. I hope to have the logistics worked out this week.

It does sound like an interesting idea. I wouldn't mind trying out a guest blogger spot once you get set up.

I think the key constraint in its success will be the time you can spend on it. The trick is in planning what to do and also what not do, rather than trying to get everything up and running at once.
Unless of course you have a team of people to help you.

I've cloned myself and Coreys 002 and 003 are on task! Corey 004 might need to be scrapped, she's drinking Starbucks instead of working. Funnyness aside, I've got a plan in store, and for anybody that's interested there is a site setup
(the guy I asked to do a logo has kinda gone A-wall, so I guess I'll be doing that part too, which I really should considering I'm a designer, haha.) and you can find it at Ripped Edge Media (the domain was acquired before I tacked on the "media network" part, but the .net has that covered.)

So here are the basic guidelines as of right now:

1) Your blog/forum/site MUST be updated a minimum of 3 times a week (original content).
2) You have to consent to a review by the members of the network before official entry. (This is to ensure quality sites are added)
3) You must link to the network with our logo (or maybe it'll be like, a blogroll thing, or like a favicon thing, I dunno yet.)
4) Your blog must fit into the niche of webmastering, freelancing, SEO, blogging, internet services, etc.

Other Options

4) You can submit your blog to the media network directory for free.
5) You should be active in the media network forums.
6) You should be available for guest posting on other blogs.
7) You have access to the Media Network Marketplace for free.

These will be talked out once everybody gets together and posts their opinion and then there's some setup stuff to do. If anybody wants to help out just let me know, but it's not exclusively paid work or anything, more of a non-profit endeavor. (non profit for the domain, but profiting to the members, the money made will probably go right back into working on the site.)

1) You already told me that.
2) That's 1 for 2 of the registered users, so if it persists, I'll check it out.
