I have a problem that I hope you folks can help me solve.
I have had a blog up and running since September of 2006 and in that time I have compiled about 50+ posts and pages on Wordpress. My site, Cash is King, was doing well and I was able to help many people in my niche (if that is truly a niche) and I had a PR5 site! So about two months ago I got a wild hair up my ....... NOSE ...... And I decided I wanted to make some money with my site. I had good traffic and thought, "why not, it can't hurt to put up some banner ads!" Well I was wrong..... WORDPRESS Slapped me and my site and will be deleting my site very soon. This has prompted me to look into way to grow my business online in a different, all be it similar, fashion. SO HERE IS THE QUESTION.... READY????? FINALLY??? Given this situation, knowing I have to move my blog to a new host, what would you suggest I do? I want to maintain my high PR ranking but I doubt that is possible, the material will be the same but the age and the back links will have to be developed again. What is a good solution? How can I streamline this process? ![]() I have started moving all the content to my new site In Mortgage and Real Estate Cash is King but the functionality is different! I am not using wordpress on my blogs so I just browse on the net about your problem..
and here's what I found.. when you are using wordpress.com you are not allowed to add some ads.. read this: Wordpress.com or Wordpress.org ? The difference. « WordPress.com Forums

I faced a similar situation when I did not read the fine print on wordpress dot com, not for commercial sites. I just took my lumps, and started over, if you can re-direct through the wordpress dot com to your new address, it's under - upgrades - domain mapping, I think it cost around 10.00 to do, but it redirects to your new location.
I than added all the posts to the new site, and eliminated all but 8 posts that were ranking well, I really pushed the new site and a google site map - my new site did redevelop PR, the old one was a 4, the new one within 5 months became a 3. Best of luck |

Wordpress.com doesn't allow you to have make money stuff. I learned that the hard way too. I had to install wordpress via my Cpanel account, export my content to my new domain and
pay for hosting through Hostgator. |

JO-
I think that is the approach I was supposed to take. ..... you know my HUGE concern is the PR 4 ranking I had versus my current 0 ranking on BLOGGER! Backlink- Short-refi I hope to figure out a quick solution and get my feet back under me! |
