How to hide labels from blog post footer

Can any one help me to hide labels from post footer.because i changed the option but it shows me labels in post footer.

Well, can you shed some light on that? I'm not sure as to what you refer to as labels.

labels means different categories defined by us for the post.

Here is how to do it.

Click 'Layout' tab and click the 'Edit HTML' Subtab. Now click 'Expand Widget Templates' to expand the CSS code.


Find the following code in your template.

<b:if cond='data:post.labels'>
          <data:postLabelsLabel/>
          <b:loop values='data:post.labels' var='label'>
            <a expr:href='data:label.url' rel='tag'><data:label.name/></a><b:if cond='data:label.isLast != &quot;true&quot;'>,</b:if>
          </b:loop>
        </b:if>

First take a backup of your template and after that delete this portion from your template. Now no labels will come beneath your posts. I hope this will help you.

Or quicker still... click on your blog's layout tag, click the 'edit' button at the bottom right of the post outline that appears and then simply uncheck the labels box. No need for editing code.

I know this is an old post, but just want to say that an awful lot of blogger/blogspot users don't make it to the layout screen --> edit posts section. There are many options that can be ticked/unticked to alter the posts layout and information, including turning off labels under the post.

Go to Design --> Page Elements.
