Sounds like you should keep them together. The only reason I would see to split them up is for SEO purposes, but if it is working currently, then don't bother.

Heh. I'm going to go against everyone and say to split it. Trying to focus on two topics, in the same post, tends to dilute your actual content. If I'm reading a blog about computer repair, I don't want details of the author's personal life, it just doesn't matter to me.
So, if you're primarily aiming to make the blog about making money, split them. If its more about your personal life, with the money portion just thrown in, keep them together.

@Skolor - Is not using permalinks having an effect on keyword ranking for you? Just been doing a few tests myself and was wondering if you had the same experience?

On that blog? Not particularly. I haven't done a lot of SEO on it, but I still manage a handful of search engine hits a week for it. When I wasn't posting for about 2 weeks, I was getting about 2 hits off google a day. Thanks for reminding me about that, my old host wouldn't process the long title links properly, the only thing I could do was the short ones or it would break.

I think you should keep them together, there are too many make money blogs out there so having it included with your personal blog will help you.
