Keyword is an essential but it won't effect immediately.It takes time to climb top rank at search engine.

Absolutely however the better your keywords are optimized the faster the climb will be if you are going to make it.

Nice post, only a few quibbles...posting comments on other blogs is a great way to get readers, but doesn't do much for your blog's SEO value. To do much for SEO, it'd have to be a blog that uses dofollow comments, and the post itself would have to be relevant to the topic of your blog, and you'd have to be nasty and keyword stuff your name.

You left off tagging (available by default in the new Wordpress), and using a plugin like the All-in-One SEO Pack. The combination of tagging and that plugin is pretty powerful for traditional Google search.

Thanks for the tips, keywording your title, tags, and categories is essential. I would also say using the keywords accordingly in the first and last paragraph of the post is a good idea.
