If it's wordpress you need to have a look in your theme files. The header file is usually quite easy to identify

Yes, it is a WordPress theme and I am a complete newb at this, which being translated, means idiot
I have already tried to change what I thought was the header name and ended up changing the name of the theme and had wp tell me "there is no such theme". My blog is Chopsticks »Which part of the header.php do I change? Help! |

It would appear that your header is an imagelink. So in the header php you could be looking for something that ends in '.jpg', it will be part of a URL. Try saving a backup on that code in notepad, then replace the url with .jpg to URL. Save, look and if the header is gone or changed to the little white box with a red X, then you've found how to change it.
See if it works, if not I'll think of something else.
