Default WordPress or something else?

I am in the midst of making the decision of whether to use Drupal or WordPress. There are a few things - like forums - that Drupal will do that I believe WordPress will not do. Does anyone know of some really neat things WordPress will do that Drupal will not?

Wordpress is easy (especially with one-click install). Having just tried to learn Joomla for three hours I can honestly say I miss the simplicity of wordpress. I haven't heard of or tried Drupal though.

Your safest bet, I believe is having Wordpress for a blog and some other platform for a forum. Wordpress is to good to let go, esp with all the help and the functionality that plugins offer.

I've never tried it, but if you have time just give wp-forums plugin a go. Let's you have forums inside wordpress.

I use Drupal for websites -- it's not really fit for a personal blog though: WordPress is your best choice, as it's designed for the purpose, and has a large community and a lot of plugins to do anything that you can imagine of.

Wordpress is easier to install and customize and more widely supported. Gets my vote.

Talking Re: WordPress or something else?

WordPress is what I'd recommend because of the support, themes, plugins, community.

You don't get half as much in any of the above with Drupal, according to what I've heard around.
