adding pictures in the latest wordpress

It's changed around and I'm a slow learner. Once it's uploaded to a gallery, what do we do then? I click on 'show' but I don't know whow to get the image into my post. I don't know if it's supposed to do something and my computer's slow, or if I've missed it. I liked the older version.

After you SHOW, you should get all the details of the picture with "Add to Blog" at the bottom.

Does it work that way for you ?

No, I click 'show' and nothing happens. Maybe my computer is just having a bad day. I'll try it at another time.

Guys, there's a new version of WorldPress (2.5.1) that's supposed to improve things with the uploaders .. worth a try

That worked for me!! Finally able to add photos to my posts!

You should consider using Windows Live Writer: it's like Word for blogs, and free. You can do basic image manipulation with it, too.

I upgraded wordpress, and now when I upload a photo it says 'crunching' for a while, and then HTTP error.

Any more ideas?

This seems related to how your host handles mod_security.

I figured that if I go to 'media library' after it gives me the http eror, I can access the image data from there in a round about way.

Why did wordpress have to go and break their picture uploader like this?
