The self hosted one (I haven't shown it off yet). I never upgraded the blogging4life blogs so they have no problems at all. It's one I'm hosting with hostgator that I have to do wierd things to get it to work.

Have you tried the wp-admin .htaccess fix thats talked about in this article

You can try using this plugin as a work around
http://dd32.id.au/wordpress-plugins/add-from-server/ You will have to ftp the images to your server, you can then use the plugin to add the images to your blogs file system.

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou (etc). That last no-flash plug in works, I can upload images on Bushie's Net Guide now! At last! I would hug you if such a thing were possible, but I'm afraid it might put my laptop in mortal danger.
