Adsense: Links or Text/Banner ads?

From my adsense channel, it seems that the 5 link ad unit is getting a lot more clicks than the text/banner ads. Is this true for other people as well?

I've never clicked on link units before, so I'm quite surprised. I was actually thinking of removing it, but luckily the channel shows which ad units are clicked.

For me the text/banner ads get the most clicks. I think its because I get a lot of ads that have pictures and graphics.

It depends on your layout. Sometimes the banners fit in better and the link units are tiny enough to fit in some areas that convert better.

Looks like both of you have success, that's a good thing to see.

I'd try both of them for ~2 weeks then compare data. Who knows what your visitors are really like unless you test and this will give you a much clearer idea hopefully.
