Wow this turned out to be a really interesting post. The passion seems to be the one that stands out and it makes a lot of sense! I would try to come up with 5 but it's been a REALLY long day... so...

3. Blogging Should Be Fun, Not a Chore.
4. Blogging Without Focus is Like Asking A Blind Man To Cross the Road, Through Heavy Traffic.

I'd have to agree with the majority here. Find something you are really passionate about and stick with it. It takes longer then most people think to get a blog going and to actually gain readers. If money is what you are passionate about, then you might find success a little quicker, but it still has to be your driving force.
