 500 Internal Server Error?
I was playing around with installing some plug-ins and ended up with a 500 error, now my site will not load. I tried to remove the new plug-ins and I'm still getting the error, any ideas?

500 error will occur when some script is either not installed properly or do not have execution rights (CHMOD 755). Also when php or perl script contains programming errors. For further information we need to know what application you are running, which plugins you installed, where do you host your site, etc. Without this information I just recommend to install the original version of your application again.

Hosting at hostgator. Wordpress 2.3? The issue happened when I loaded link-cloaking plug-in and link cloaking plug-in 2. They loaded fine but they did not link my ad URL's so I installed wp-afflillate and thats when I got the 500. When you refer to installing the original version do mean the whole wordpress? I could care less about my time but I don't want to risk erasing my blog posts.
