Hi everyone,
I often see "carnivals of personal finance", and know that these types of events can be a good way to get your blog out there. Who runs these, and how do you get to be a part of one? Also, is there a set way to let another blogger that you have an article that you would like to share with their audience? I'm sure the larger blogs have plenty of content, but I'm not sure what the general protocol for guest posting is.

Here's a place that centralizes a lot of blog carnivals: http://blogcarnival.com/bc/
For guest posting, use the contact form on the blog you want to guest post on, and tell them what post you have that you think their readers would be interested in, and why. If they're interested, they'll get back to you. Don't worry if they don't respond, a lot of bloggers get lots of contacts, and if they're not interested they may just delete the message. Just try the next likely place. Jay |
