We as bloggers always focuses on how to increase the number showed by the RSS chicklet and we might have been trying to boost our feed count without knowing the value of our RSS subscribers. This, I would say that is equivalent to building fake RSS count.

It is just like the value of traffic. Actually, the idea came after I seen a lot of bloggers which their blog provide little or no quality contents asking me to sponsor their upcoming contest to boost their RSS feed count, which I don't think is really the proper way.

A good example and in fact a great one, will be the one by Jason The University Kid which I have no regrets sponsoring my humble prize.
