I have created the following php file: <?php header("Location: http://XXXX.crowgirl.hop.clickbank.net/"); ?> I have uploaded it to a Directory called 'Recommends' at my URL.. when I click the links it directs me to the page I want but still shows my Clickbank ID at the end??? for example it looks like this: http://www.somewebsite.com/kidsbook.html?hop=XXXX Is there something wrong? Shouldn't this URl in the address bar look like: http://www.mywebsite.com/recommends/getyourwidget.php Someone please help me out with this?! I don't get why it isn't working |

Header redirection just allows you to show one URL but have it go to another. You want one step beyond that, having your "fake" URL actually show in the address bar. That's possible using iframes, but isn't a standard feature of URL cloaking. Jay |

Thanks Jay, So what I have done is doing its job the way it is suppose then? You are right-I want the 'fake" Url to show up in the top address bar WITHOUT my AFFILIATE ID at the end.. Is there any way to do that? Or do I need a cloaker program? Thanks for your help.. |
