Run Out of Things To Blog About?

I know that running out of things to blog about is a big problem for a lot of writers. It happens to the best of us... and it happened to me this morning.

I like to try and post everyday, but this time I was drawing a blank. I did not have any kind of idea pad (I do now), so I had nothing to go on.
Then it hit me, why not make a post about what to do when you have nothing to write about?

Anyways.... this is a cheap plug perhaps, but I think a lot of you will find my recent article interesting. I outline ten things to write about when your brain shuts down.

My biggest problem is that when I get on a streak I might make 20-30 posts between my blogs, then the next day I don't know what to write about because I already put down all my ideas.

I know I could set my posts not to run until a future date, but when the creativity flows I just tend to put it out there asap.

I've never run out of stuff to blog about.....and I have an entire folder of bookmarked ideas and a planner full of lists of things to talk about. Granted, my blog is different than others so it wouldn't be expected that I'd run out, but that's not the only place I write. I've definitely hit writer's block before and it sucks, but just keep your mind open and stay in tune with everything around you....you'd be surprised what kind of ideas can pop up if you're just aware of your surroundings and don't get caught up on the idea of "not knowing what to write."

I find the less I blog the less ideas I have. You doubt things and discount them. When you blog often things just flow more.

I keep a notepad in my purse. When I am out running errands, I often think of things to post about. I write them down as soon as I think of them. Then I will refer back to them later when I am out of ideas to blog about.

I get ideas from article directories (try to think of a sub topic niche), and also from any comments left in my blog. Also try to get ideas from semi difficult questions asked in computer forums that I am involved with...
