Default Help needed with Robot txt files

Hi,
My webmaster tool shows that many of my blogger blog pages are restricted due to robot txt files. I searched, and found out that I have to allow the robot txt files ( or something of that sort). Now this robot txt is in the root directory of the site. So my question is, where is this root directory, and how do change the robot txt.
Thanks

Hopefully someone with more Blogger experience will jump in here, but I doubt that you will be able to modify the robots.txt file for your Blogger blog. That's more something you use when you have your own web hosting, not when you're using free services.

Blogger should be allowing search engines in to all your posts, so if web master tools tells you some pages aren't accessible, I'd ignore that message (unless it shows *all* your posts as inaccessible).

Default About robot.txt

Blogger.com does not allow you to modify robot.txt does your pages wouldn't be searched by major search engines. So every post in your pages is considered null. Or in short, you are just wasting your time posting.

THank you
Charles

I am seeing less and less blogger sites getting spidered at all. I think it's because of the rampant abuse spammers have engaged in with blogger and blogspot. It's sad because you can find some really useful blogs on there.

but google offered a beta search engines specialized to crawl on blogs. but most of the people dont know about it. So you will still have lesser traffic from major google search engine.

Maybe you can visit this site: http://www.resourcesandmoney.blogspot.com.

I just wished that google will put the google blog search and main google search engine in one site. People can choose if they search through blogs or they can search through global sites.

Hope it helped you
Charles
