A lot of great feedback on here. I use blogger right now. If I decide to switch it from the free blogspot web address to buying a domain name, will blogger still host my site for free?

starksmom2, your answer is yes, all you have to do is add a redirect to your domain name.

Your www.yourdomain.com can be redirected to yourname.blogspot.com (any links within yourname.blogspot.com will show up as links within yourname.blogspot.com ). |

For me, the only real difference between blogger or wordpress is whether you are letting them host it or you are hosting it on your own url. If you are looking for a free host, I would go with blogger (since you can make money off of it and it is easy to use/customize). If you want to put it on your own domain, then wordpress is the way to go. Beyond that, they both seem to have the same functionality in terms of plugins, etc.

Since I am not using Blogger and many are, can anyone tell me if you're able to customise your comments page in Blogger? |
