Argh, this is driving me insane!

Man, I'm really bad with this website stuff.

So I ended up registering for a domain Hedge Against Speculation and a host (Hawk Host). I also was able to go to Fantastico on my cPanel to get WordPress. That's why when you go to my dotCom page you see a default WordPress theme. Now how do I go about editing this theme?

You guys make it seem so easy with this plug-in stuff, where do I go to add plug-ins, or just simply edit my blog?!? Also, I see there are many wordpress themes in zip files, how do I get these themes up onto my dotCom page?

Please help me...

You have to use a file manager, upload the files to its folder (themes go under wp-content/themes, plugins go under wp-content/plugins) and unzip them.

After you unzip them, go to your Dashboard ===> Plugins to activate the Plugins and ===> Presentation to change your theme

So I guess I`ll be blogging from my cPanel from now on? I still haven`t figured out how that all works, and I noticed that on wordpress.com I can transfer all my blogger posts to wordpress easily, can I do this through my host?

You can go watch video on 5min.com to know how wordpress work. Just my 2 cents tip :P

I recommend you install the oneclick plugin first. Once you install this one, you won't need to FTP anything. You'll be able to upload all the themes and plugins you want through your wordpress dashboard. When you get time, you can go to my Blogging with Cents (in signature) and find a whole list of plugins and themes
