Let newer posts stay at top?

Hey guys should I let my newer posts stay at top or the bottom, I like my top to be a intro and stuff and I dont want it to get mixed around? Any info is helpful, this is my blog so I can show you what I mean.

I'd keep the newest posts on top. Just because 99% of the blogs do.

If you were using WordPress things would have been easier.

There are plugins to display your most popular posts, or you could have created your own piece of code to show a static container in the header, showcasing the posts you wish to be visible at all times.
The latter is how I do it on my site.

hmmm, but my first post is how I get my earnings and If Its on the bottom I might not make as much, what do you say?

As a suggestion, yes, put newest posts first (on top). You can always have a separate 'About' page or use one of the side bar text widgets at the top of the column for information that is to be static.

There is a "sticky" plugin for wordpress as well. That will keep one post at the top for as long as you want.

Maybe you would like that if you want to keep your earnings at the top for everyone to see.

I agree with Educator.. using blogspot that's the easiest thing to do..

I'd say to put your introduction on the About me page. A new reader will find it and if it's the SAME intro as first post you'll annoy return readers which ultimately to some extent is what most blogs are about...

When I go on to a blog if the post at the top is either old or I already read it, I will click off of the page. I think most readers are "trained" to look for the most current post at the top.
