ghing has a good point. Changing your theme could of affected how your blog gets spidered. You can use a lynx browser to see how the spiders view your blog.

Man, PayPerPost is dead on what killed your PR. Check their forums, but doing PPP is what set you to 0. Those paid links in those paid posts are a no-no for Google. Sorry.

Absolutely. Some 'posties' over there are reporting that Google slapped them in as little as 1-2 days. So it could happen. And we know Google is targeting paid links.

Blog newbie here. Is PR page rank? If it is, then I have zero. I just started a few weeks ago could that be a reason? Man, Paul you sure are talking a lot stuff that are over my head...I got a lot to learn about blogging.

I know how you feel. I went from PR 0 to PR 4, in one update, and stayed that way for a year, and now...BLAMMO! Back to PR0.
I didn't do anything different, actually I did nothing at all, maybe a few more links, and that is it. |

Site can still go up in google, just try to hide any sponsor text from spiders.
When you add a disclosure to your site, use an image file instead using text. remove if you have any sponsor category (change it to uncategorized for example) and do not list it in your categories list |

And thus, my problem with paid posting. Blatant deception. But it's your blog. Do what you want.
(This is not an attack on you, mhmtozek, but more a problem with paid blogging.) |
