When is the Good Time to Place Ads on Your Blog?

I introduced ads to my blogs slowly. I'd get about 5 posts and then introduce a block of adsense in the sidebar. I introduced an amazon store to one about a month ago, and project wonderful just recently. I think a slow introduction is gentle on your readers.

If you're writing the blog because you care about the topic, then introduce the ads in such a way that it doesn't annoy YOU.

in my observations image ads are more effective on gaming sites, car sites, celebrity and teen related sites. teens are easily attracted to images than text ads. so if your target readers are mostly teens then go for image type ads.

well for me text ad types are more effective because they look like links and they minimizes pageload
