Wordpress or another blog program? If it's wordpress, you should see a 'presentation' tab in your dashboard that you can click, which will change your blog's themes. If you then click 'theme editor' it will show you the segments of the code. It's then a matter of finding the place in the code you want to put the add, copy and paste.

You can use plugins to track them, however I think that for most bloggers just using your normal editing the template way.

You should be able to place the html in to a widget on your blog if you are using Wordpress. If you are using Blogger you can add a banner under your layout tab and then click on "add a page element".

If you use Wordpress, there's a script called Adrotator that allows you to rotate banners through the same space, it's what I have in the side bar on TV of the Absurd. Great way to show many banners without cluttering up the site

I have a wordpress blog and was looking for a widget/plug in but in the end didn't need one. I did what ferox suggested using the theme editor and then adding a text widget to my sidebar and copying the ad code into that. Seems to have worked, just need people to visit my site now. ;o)
