I figure I should rephrase what I said before:
You should definitely do a teaser. Don't do an "excerpt," do a full teaser, One or two paragraphs that give you a more or less full overview of the entire post. If you read them, you shouldn't have any questions about the whole post, except what the solution to the problem is. Take this consideration for a moment: A reader who is unwilling to make that extra click to read your full post is most likely unwilling to click on anything else on your site, making your ads convert less, most likely leading to a smaller overall value.
