Too Many Widgets on your Blog?

The question about the MyBlogLog widget... it just depends on you and your community. I have 700 people in mine and we get maybe.... a few uniques a month? We used to get 100-200 but we also used to be very active there.

I like widgets on a blog! I recently had to clear some of the useless ones out though. There comes a point that you have too many and it ends up being clutter.

I like the MyBlogLog widget so that I can see who has visited my blog. Now Entrecard is the popular widget to have on your blog and the trend is growing.

Widgets are not that bad.. as long as its not too much.. and bloggers put it on the right place.. that will make their blogs looks clean..
I saw some blogs with lots of widgets and they put it all over their blog, that makes their blog messy.

This can be a good and bad thing to have a lot of widgets. I say as long as it blends in to your colors of your design that is okay. However, if that causes your page to load really slowly than that can carry a lot of readers off. Usually the more professional widgets keep readers on your web site and might even cause them to subscribe to your blog.

I like to try new widgets. But I don't let it interfere with my loading of the page. I keep removing the older ones and adding new ones.
