At the very least if you are ever desperate for a post this is always a good one to ask your readership... Even throw a blog poll in as well!

I think the majority of people like full feeds, I mean, isn't that the reason why we have it? It's supposed to be easy for the reader on the go... plus, if they wanted to go to your page to comment, they can do so...

I prefer full feeds and so I use them. I also use full feeds cause I use feedburner so people can get my blog posts in their email. I would rather have someone reading it then worrying about getting that extra traffic. if they subscribe by email if they like what they read or have something to say there going to come by and leave a comment. So I get two instead of one =)

I've always been told to go with short feeds because of content scraping....so easy to just pull from full feeds and off to another site your stuff goes to be pasted and stolen. From the perspective of the reader, though, I'd prefer the full feed.

That being said, I don't use a reader. I've tried, but I started with MyYahoo and Firefox bookmarks, and haven't found anything yet that satisfies my needs. With MyYahoo, I have some of my long term feeds subscribed....and it just posts the title of the most recent posts. If I want to read, I go to the site...if I don't, then meh, whatever. Generally I just go the site and read them right there, though, regardless of the titles. And with Firefox, I have blogs split up into certain folders. When I have time to read, I click a folder and open them all in tabs....read the posts since the last time I was there, comment as desired, and close the tab. Rinse and repeat.

I have 'way' too many sites saved and feeds subscribed, so the actual readers (like Google) are overwhelming and if I don't generally read everything on a fast moving site, then it's frustrating when I've got 30 new items from just one place....every 2 hours, lol. And I like being able to see the sites...not just a blank white screen with black text. *shrugs*

My feeds are full feeds, because, I typically unsubscribe from partial post feeds. I want to get it all in front of me. If I had time to go to the site everyday,I wouldn't mind. I think my readers feel the same
