Blogging in advance

Wordpress allows you to set your posts to be posted in at a set time and date. I was wondering if anybody does this with their blogs?

I have started to do it with mine so that I cen write all my posts on weekends when I'm at college, and was just wondering if anybody else did it.

It's a function everybody uses, I believe. I mean, remember those days when you were holidaying? During Christmas? New Year's Eve?

Ahh.. I love the future post function, and I'm not embarrassed to admit it, LOL.

It's a great function to have when you're going to be away. It makes it so the work still gets done, even if you aren't around!

I use it often, because I don't work on weekends, I use the advance date feature to write my posts for the weekend on friday, that way there is no break in schedule.

This is a great function that will allow you to continue to post while you are away from the computer. If you are going away on a business trip or vacation you can write your post and date them for when and what time you want them to post.

It is a good way to get "ahead" of posting. You won't feel rushed to come up with a good post daily if you can manage to get ahead in your posting.

on what i see wordpress has lots of functions.. sadly I can't start doing some blog on wordpress 'coz I think it need some installation.. and we are not allowed to do it here

That's Blogger's biggest downfall, in my opinion. They allow you to write entries and you can post date....but it won't automatically post on that day. And if you go ahead and try to post with a date in the future, that's fine...but it'll show on your blog the minute you publish it, just with a different date, heh. I hate it. But yes, I used to write several at once and then publish throughout the week. I'd really like to start doing that again soon...but it kinda requires me to have the extra time.

I use the wordpress future dating capabilities for my posts.

With a title like Daily Home Renovation Tips, I have committed myself to a post every single day

I also find that I am not always in a 'writers mind'. Some days I just get writer's block whereas on other occasions I am 'in the zone' and write article after article after article.....

I like if from that perspective.......as well as when away on vacation when I have no PC connection.

Good thinking. Sometimes I'm a blogoholic; other times I'm not so blogish.

As a result the other day I made 6 posts on the plane... Some days I can't be bothered to even open wordpress lol
