I get 500+ hits per day.. and just like evelester if it went down it is really a bad day for me.. and i think of ways on optimizing and promoting my site...

Yeah, it all depends on what you think "good" is. I want to say if you get 500+ UNIQUE visitors each day, then you're definitely doing pretty good.

I have two different blogs, both are relatively new. But I think on average DatMoney.com gets about 150-300 uniques a day. But again, this is my newest blog...

Then there's DatCurious.com which flactuates but on average probably like 400+ UNIQUES a day. The most I've gotten in one day was like 1,400... which was a shocker to me...

yeah, I hear you WhoJayBe, I only count uniques, and I also check the visitor loyalty (how many are repeat visitors.)

Yeah, I count both of those too because that's how you end up building your loyal readership community.

Though, I also focus on pageviews and sometimes the bounce rate... oh, and outgoing clicks... those are all good stats to show advertisers

After just starting my blog not quite a month ago, I finally broke the 50 unique users the other day. For me, this was fantastic. If someone had told me I would be getting 50 unique visitors a day with what little promotion I do, I would have thought them nuts

This is very true... before I just wanted to hit the triple digits in daily visitors. Well, I'm there and now it's hard as hell to get into the 1,000's a day...

that is the problem! Once you start getting traffic, you just set you goal higher and higher. It's harder to hit those higher numbers!
