i guess that's not a good idea in a SEO perspective because readers are up to what articles they can ponder on while visiting your blog so i guess you can limit the show of your posts but not entirely abolish the list

actually in blogger you can limit people who can have access to your blog, select that option and don't invite anyone yet until your content and layout are ready, that will be a clean and good way to hide your posts
