Do you or anyone have a social bookmarking for dummies article, I mean I know how to set up a profile and such on ll of them, but I would love to know how to best use them to market my site, like adding friends, groups, etc.

I'm sorry but haven't seen one yet but I'm sure mashable should have one.

There are softwares out there that allows you to submit your post to hundreds of social bookmarking websites but I wouldn't recommend buying one. There have been cases of blogs that have been blacklisted from social bookmarking websites because of using auto and mass submission softwares.

I compiled the list but I don't submit my post to all of them. In fact, I only use the popular ones.

Social Networking is so far the best alternative to Google traffic. Others even claim it to be better. The only problem is, it's time consuming and alot of work.

Been away for a bit working on my self hosted site.....almost there.

I found the Ezine@rticles site generating some interest. I only mention it as I didn't see it in the list. Is it a social networking site or an articles publishing site? How can one tell?

Anyway, I posted a few articles from my blog the past couple of days and it has sent some visitors, so I thought I would mention it.

Does anyone know of a list of article publishing sites and their relative usefulness in generating traffic back?
