Where do you get images and pictures

At what places do you find your pictures that you use in your blog posts?

I mean considering that not all images are to be shared and not always you know if you have a permission so how do you avoid this and where do you go for your images?

I take all my own - well nearly all. I have a friend who is a very talented wildlife photographer and I have been known to use one of his once - with his permission of course, a credit and a link to his own web pages.

Otherwise I almost always have a camera with me and on the rare occasions I don't, I have a mobile phone with a pretty good camera. You can just see the difference but for blog purposes it is minimal and most people won't tell the difference.

It doesn't take long to build up a good library of general images and obviously no copyright problems.

Yeah that is true... The stock image suck badly often

I like Flickr Creative Commons photos too. I check to see what they want with them, and give them a link to their Flickr profile page usually.

Two other sites I like are the Microsoft (Word) Clipart pages and the Clker site.

I get almost all of mine from Wikimedia Commons. I tend toward older black-and-white images; I'm a little sorry that I didn't make that a Thing and do it consistently from the time I started blogging.
