New Blogger - Need Help with Basics

Hi Bloggeries!

I am a new blogger and need help with certain basics.

(Apologies in advance if this topic has already been posted, in which case you can just point me in the right direction).

Ok, so i started a blog on Blogger...before the new changes... and when i started it i had a different background for each page.. then Blogger introduced its changes and suddenly i discovered all my pages have the same background (the background of the last page that i posted).

I don't know anything about CSS...so don't know how to change the page background.. i tried doing it.. but the pages and the CSS commands just aren't working with me.. (i put in the commands exactly as given on the google help pages).

So what i basically wanna learn is how to be able to add a different background for each page. The reason why the backgrounds are important for me is coz my backgrounds are photographs that i have shot myself.. and my blogs have meaning for me with my photographs..

i am so depressed about this that i have stopped blogging

will really appreciate some help.

And will super duper appreciate if someone can help me with CSS.

The next episode in my help request will be how to embed music files.. but thats way too advanced... i can wait for that so long as i can get the backgrounds going.. (oh also i get lost with the "static pages" concept).

I have extensively customized my blogger blogs. The best thing to do is to sign up for rss/newsletters/email from blog tutorial sites. It's what I did to learn. Start with blogger tips and tricks, blogger buster, and others. Too extensive to explain generally.

dont use blogger, go with wordpress, it's really simple
