Default Questions about video

Ok, so I've this hilarious video on youtube that needs to go on my blog. So I put it there. Great.

But I know that sometimes videos get removed from youtube, either because of copyright stuff, or the user deletes his account, etc. Then my link brings nothing but disappointment and heartache to those who click it. So is there a way to download videos on youtube or move them onto my own account so that if anything happens to that users account, I still have the video?

I've since found a site called Savevid.com that's pretty straightforward and simple to use. Try it.

I think you can make your own channel on YouTube and save your videos there then what is the point of sharing with others account?

The sites and programs exist, yes, but I won't link to them here. Please do be careful when using them as well because you could run into issues with copyrights and such, as technically you could be stealing and publishing other people's content.

Copyright issues aside, I have found Vimeo to be much better than Youtube regarding what music I use for my own videos.
