Currently I only have a few articles on my blog, however, I plan to expand it soon. While I think the theme that I've started now is fine, as I've stated in other posts, my blog has posts on current events, politics, religion, and culture. It also will contain tips on survival in a separate section, as well as a media gallery of videos. I am planning to change my blog to a more "magazine" format. Do you think this is necessary, and should I wait until I have more content to fill up the front-page or should I just do it right away? |

I greatly prefer blogs to be "blog-style" - to start with the latest post immediately below the header, and have at least two or three more posts streaming down, leading to some sort of "earlier posts" link so that you can follow the posts into the past. I can tolerate some meddling with the "earlier posts" thing, but a blog that doesn't follow this format at least to the point of those first several streaming posts is likely to be ignored by me unless it has something _incredibly_ compelling about it.

it depends on your current theme, if it looks not attractive, readers wouldn't stay too long on your blog when they first visit. So blog design is one of the most important aspects that can help you get traffic for your site.
