How to choose a Blog Topic

Hi, guys, I'm new to the forums and new-ish to blogging. How do you decide what to blog about? Like, how did you narrow down the options? And what have you found is the most interesting to readers?

Hello, I'm new to the forum too! Except that I've spent years blogging and trying to get people to appreciate my writing. Do check it out: tearsheartsoul.co.nr

Anyway, the way I blog is just to write about things that are current in the news, or something I feel strong about. Usually, the best topics I come up with comes up randomly - when I'm on the train, when I eating...

I think most interesting with readers is probably things they can relate to. Depends on the audience you're writing to anyway...

I'm still trying to figure out a who my audience is actually. Once I get some more blogs up and start focusing on one real topic, maybe I'll have a better sense of who I should be catering to.

I think it's better to stick on topics that you actually know something about.

I'm new to blogging myself, and my blog is primarily a team blog. When I write it's either something I've planned out, or something that's popped in my head. I like to look at what's going on in the news and narrow it down to a specific topic.

Write about what you are passionate of. Make sure you can offer something new for the audience.
