Hi I am real estate consultant and I want to set up a blog on property but I also have passion for - Green Energy call it eco friendliness and Charity. So how do I go about setting it up so I can incorporate all three. property will be for the purpose of business and green energy and charity is something I would want to talk about in my blog. Offer info and advice etc. Hope someone can offer some sound advise. Many thanks guys Sainy |

I personally don't know enough in the three topics you've stated to give a reasonable answer to your combination question, but instead will give some overall advice: If you are sacrificing one aspect of your blog for another, you are doing it wrong. You blog should have a balanced theme with a targeted audience, if it want to have the best possible chance at being successful. As an example, say someone wants to write a blog about two things, the latest news in pop culture and the ins and outs of law school. Both these respective topics have a vast audience to pool from, however, in this case, you can't predict your potential audience as pop culture audience + law audience = total audience, but instead have to realize that a vast majority of people wanting to talk about pop culture will find law not only unexciting, but in some cases a negative to your blog, enough to turn them away. Just as some law lovers will find pop culture uninviting to their personal interests. This is opposed to a person writing about two more relating things, such as music and movies, or baseball and football, or programming and the latest tech news, etc, where the topics both can co-exist as well as foster more growth the might have not happened if each topic was done separately. Like I said, I don't know much about your selection of topics, but you need to take into account each of their potential audiences, and ask yourself:
Hope this helps. |

you just clarified it for me. Thanks a million. For those wondering if the 3 topics can co-exist, the answer is yes. How - Green Energy: I am working on a project in India that is a green village. real estate + green energy. Charity: 10% of all my revenue goes to Charity and I like to follow my charities very closely to make sure my monies is being spent wisely. So with both I'll be able to report on, to all my clients and would be clients on my blog. Thanks again Sainy |

If i was you I would create 3 seperate blogs, or pick your most loved topic out the 3 I don't think it would work! Some people visit your blog to read about charity but then come across green energy! it just wouldnt work keep a blog targeted. So if you create a charity blog you know EVERY one of your visitors are interested in that topic
