Haha, I love the way you put it, too. It makes sense. Consistency really is key.

It estimates on what you're web blogging around. Certain things are a sufficiently more sought-after than others. On the other hand, just put emphasis on your posts for now.

I come to an agreement with new posters. Keep on blogging; don't consent it unaccompanied for too long. Likewise, using your web blog bond when you send electronic message to people can help.

My wife traffics the crap out of her blog with twitter. I'm not going to lie, it helps a lot. We used reddit for a while. But that is very limited. You can only post your own stuff so much. We participate in community blog hops a lot. That gets us known. I also take that opportunity in to follow those blogs. Once every couple of days I look through all of their postings. It gets me familiar with them and gives me other ideas. Also, if I see a relevant article I can comment on it with a post back to mine. We do giveaways and market those giveaways on sweeper sites. You dont need much, like a $5 amazon gift card. but that will net a lot of traffic and a lot of followers on your blog and twitter. Ive been doing a lot of back end campaigning. Like Ezine articles, hubpages, certain directories, squidoo articles, etc... The ezine articles I spin my site content with a link back. Squidoo I copy and post most of the article along with links to all the sections of my site at the top and bottom of the article. It gets the word out and helps PR ranking at some point. Some time soon I intend on doing some press releases. These are harder to make worthwhile ones then what people say. You can't write awful ones. They still have to be journalistic and provide a hook. My wife does the facebook page thing and does half well with it. I intend on starting foursquare and other such sites and looking into them as well. That's my best suggestions thus far. I'm sure I'm missing something. Between my wifes blog, freelance writing, and my normal job I am forever busy. Thank god for smart phones! |
