I'd love it if someone can review my blog to help me out how I am improve it. Someone will more experience than me. I've only had my blog for a month :-) What are other people raking in from AdSense blog ads? - tork |

2,200 pageviews does not = visitors. Get google analytics and that will tell you truly how many times your blog is visited and how long your visitors are staying on your site. the pageview metric that you're using basically counts each page that a single visitor visitors visits so if I were to view 10 pages you'd get 10 new hits yet i'm just one person. As for increasing ad clicks. It's all about targeting the right traffic. If the bulk of your traffic comes from sites like bloggeries (or other blog related sites) odds are your readers are what is known as "ad-blind" basically they don't notice your ads. Stumbleupon also will typically produce an extremely low CTR. MOST IMPORTANT your blog is barely 2 months old. BE PATIENT ad clicks don't happen overnight and to make any reasonable amount of money from adsense you'll need 20k unique visits a day! That's a lot of traffic!

Exactly the 'theeventof' said. Also once you start receiving traffic, I have heard about positioning of the google ads makes a difference. Apparently top left placed ads have seemed to bring in more clicks based of the knowledge of where people look and also feedback from peoples blogs. However do not quote me on this but it could be something to look in to... Also Google Analytics should definitely be installed |

The average CTR is something 0.2% so you are in the average level. It shows on both sides (being an Adwords campaign manager) and running Adsense sites for me. You could get better results by better targeting and positioning your ads (like 0.4-0.6%) but it does not getting much better from that. |

So Even if I place my ads right, etc, the best I can reasonably hope for is a bit under 1 in a thousand?

Yep--for most blogs, it's not realistic to expect to make any money. The rewards of blogging are mostly about fun.

So, i've had 830 "pageviews" today and one AdSense click.. I've repositioned my ads, so.. will see how we go. But, 1 click out of 800+ is crazy.. cant believe it! Where do i get these analytics from? is it a site or program? |

Google analytics's can be found here at Google Analytics | Official Website and sign up there and follow the instructions to install your code on to your page. See as you are with blogspot it should be pretty straight forward to install analytics's into your website as there both owned by google |
