Launching Blog Tonight! Excited and nervous, any tips?

I've been working on starting a blog for the past week.

I've got the general layout sorted, and the first post is up. The other sections are not 100% done but I'm happy enough with what is there to start trying to promote it.

I've made a facebook page and a twitter account and in a few hours I'm going to be sending a message out to all of my friends to check it out (pretty nervous!)

I've got some ads up from google adsense so hopefully will make a few dollars if they get clicked, but really right now I just want to have a cool blog that I'm proud of.

Any tips on how to go about telling people about the blog/launching would be greatly appreciated!

I like the clean layout.

But it would be better if it is optimised, like adding meta tags, description, title, and keywords.

However i wish you all the best with your new blog :-)
