I was thinking about ways to help bloggers and also contributing back to community, so I decided to write a series on making your blog posts attractive. The difference is that this series is not on my blog but completely on the forum! If you find it helpful, do share your views and if you have any suggestions, feel free to share them. In this thread, I will discuss why you should add images to your blog posts. Quote:
Ask yourself a question, why do people come to your blog? Do they come to get useful information or read essays? Of course, they come to get useful information. However, without a picture, your post is just like an essay: Good to read, but also easy to forget. If you are not adding images to your posts, you are feeding essays to people. And they won't like that. Here are 3 reasons to add images to your blog posts:
Note: While adding images is important, it is no substitute for quality content. Your top priority should be producing quality content. Thanks for reading. Feel free to share and comments or suggestions. If you have any question/topic in mind, do share here or PM me. Have a nice day.

Hey homie, This is a awesome forum post! Thanks for taking the time to share it with us here. I totally agree with you dude. Pictures do speak a thousand words if not more. A picture will add liveliness to your blog post. I always enjoy a good picture with what I'm readying. When I was young I would only read picture books, because there were simply more appealing to my eyes. It's always nice having that picture that relates to what your writing. It capitalizes on what is being said in the post. I have a friend who just read a article I posted, and the first thing she mentioned was that she loved my picture. So, with that being said everyone should take the little time it takes to find a picture, and FIND ONE! Lol. People can be so lazy now in days. The object is to make your site as appealing as possible. You have to remember, the first empression is always the most important. Thanks again! God bless |

Excellent idea. It took me a while to realize this, but images with posts can make a blog more memorable and look more professional. I started using images on my people skills blog a few months ago and I get positive feedback from readers about this. However, I also have a conversation starters blog that I keep minimalistic and I use no images on it (although minimalistic and having images are not necessarily a contradiction in terms). |

Yes I would also say to add images to every post, this is helpful in many ways. Readers are always waiting for some images to explain what they read. Moreover you get traffic from google images.

This is genius. I'm just new to blogging, but it never even occurred to me to use images.
