Tips for being funny

If you cant naturally write funny you could use some techniques like going back on yourself, so like you say something then change your mind but keep typing it so it's like you are talking to the reader.

A tip I got from a fellow writer that I can definitely reccommend taking into account is being observative instead of insulting. This applies to everything really. Look at things, but don't look down at things.

One thing that definitely works for humor is material taken from personal experience. Funny stuff is often easy to remember, so take what you remember out of your brain and see what you can make of it.

I would from personal experience also avoid using too much internal humor. There's apparently a reason why it's called internal. I used to have a tendency where I spewed out internal humor to people outside my circuits. didn't work.

I agree with the suggestion of some that humor comes naturally... but as a blog post, one tip would be to write jokes as your post. that would be funny!

Being funny can be quite easy if you will play from the bottom of your heart and not just because of the need that might be present on hand.

There are some of us who can be funny and this is because we act out what is really on our hearts. You can be funny even if you don’t work it out.
