Default RSS Subscriber Series

I am writing a series of articles on RSS subscribers and how to increase the number of subscribers to your blog. I would love to get your ideas on how to increase subscribers.

Hi Fred,

In your opinion would you say that RSS subscribers are of a certain "type".

For instance if you have a blog on gadgets and technology they would be more likely to subscribe than say celebrity gossip?

What are your thoughts on that,
cheers,
Rob

Rob,

I definitely think that more tech people use RSS feeds, however, I also think that younger people are using them. These younger people could be great for the celebrity gossip crowd. What do you think?

Definitely could be. I think the landscape is changing as most youth of today know EVERYTHING about this type of media; where as currently and yesterday it was only certain people. The internet / web design / multi media applications are becoming mainstream quickly.

Also noticed lots of people who aren't into designing know a heck of alot about how to receive the information as that is what concerns them more.
