New Blog and looking for some help

I mean so far I understand the concept of blogging and everything such as that. But now since I have created it i am trying to figure out what to write about. I am basically posting my blog to all the people in my town for now so i got a couple people that are actually reading it maybe around like 50. But i want to know how to keep them entertained with local stuff or how to write general blogs that everyone can join in on. Well anyway if you guys have any advice or suggestions let me know. Welcome. You could write reviews of local events, restaurants and other hot spots. Maybe put some polls up on your site where readers can vote. Just my two cents.

You must be aware of popular things of your town, in which your people are interested, so write more about that and secondly, you can arise any issue of the town and ask people to give their opinions.

gear the site towards entertainment / nightlife / restaurants ect and create a forum where people can meetup, and talk about everything "insert name of town"

Promote your blog in facebook groups and on fan pages for local businesses and your local area.

Cover topics that you know are of interest to people in your town. Invite them to comment on your blog with their reactions to certain events, and offer to cover events taking place in your town, too.

You could even ask your readers what would they like to read about on your blog. Maybe post a poll with a few suggestions, or just let them comment with their ideas.
