Hi all,

I am new to blogging and have just started a blog on blogger.com. I did look at wordpress but i personally found blogger to be more user friendly and easier to use.
I would just like to know the basics as to what is needed for a successful blog with followers and comments being made (what everyone wants)
I have looked into a few widgets and i have added some and also have a few posts. Some constructive criticism on the wording and blog itself would be appreciated.

Also the themes available are very dull and boring and would like to add a different one from one of the template sites but i have no idea how to do this, any help would be much appreciated.
