Why can't I make a new posting for my blog?

I started my blog, (JohnBirchLive.blogspot.com) a few months ago intending to add two new short stories or feature articles every month. However, when I came to post these for April I couldn't remember how to paste the 2 selected pieces from my (PC XP home) desktop. I'd hoped that, if I clicked COPY on each file, I could then post it and upload the piece by clicking on PASTE. However, the word PASTE doesn't appear.

Any help much appreciated.

Normally, on Blogspot, the procedure would be:

- Sign in to your Blogspot account, using the link on the top right of the screen.
- Return to your blog.
- Click New Post, also a link on the top right.
- Paste your text into the editing area of the new post - or, to ensure that you won't carry any formatting over, paste it into the HTML area.
- Add any formatting that you want. (And title, tags, etc.)
- Post.

Thanks, ChickenFreak. I'm afraid it didn't work for me because, as before, when it came to pasting the blog post item under FILE, the word "paste" was inactive.

Also, I couldn't find the "link on the top right," can you direct me?

Have you any other suggestions?

Hey, are you copying the actual file (as in .doc)?
You should just copy the text. Go into the file and select the text and copy and paste that

Check back again today. Once the 15 post mark is hit, the sig doesn't automatically appear. FAQ's say it may take a few hours or even a day to register.
